Malema to Appeal Firearm Conviction After Sentencing

EFF leader Julius Malema remains defiant after being found guilty in the firearm discharge trial. Speaking to supporters in East London, he confirmed plans to approach the Supreme Court of Appeal immediately following his sentencing on 23 January 2026.
