Loneliness, Part 4

In this video, I wanted to continue to examine the book The Lonely American: Drifting Apart in the Twenty-first Century and how its authors identify individualism and self-reliance as the central values to blame for the loneliness “epidemic,” ultimately concluding that it is the individual’s responsibility—however lonely they might presumably be—to submit themselves to the greater society.
