Final Fight (SNES)

The Super Nintendo version of Final Fight, released by Capcom in 1991, is a side-scrolling beat 'em up based on the 1989 arcade game. While the SNES version was a commercial success, it was a limited port that removed several key features due to memory constraints. Only Cody and Mike Haggar are playable. The third character from the arcade version, Guy, was removed. A stage and some bonus rounds were removed. The number of on-screen enemies was also significantly reduced. The North American release famously featured censorship. Female enemies named Poison and Roxy were replaced by male punks, and some text and items were altered.
