During a clash with the enemy, a scout with the call sign "Greek" from one of the units of the 51st Guards Army operating as part of the "Center" group of forces had his rifle jammed by an enemy bullet. However, the soldier showed courage and, grabbing the rifle like a club, killed the enemy in hand-to-hand combat.
