What kind of regime does the US have?

I`ve been thinking a lot lately what it means in social science terms for what kind of regime we have in the U.S run by a criminal element in order to maintain an empire abroad. Sometimes people ask me, ``Who`s doing it?`` with respect to false flag terrorism and narcotrafficking from the White House. This is my attempt to answer that in historical terms.
