Put On the armor of God

I stand in truth, I will not fall,

God is my strength; He is my all.

The battle’s fierce, but I am strong,

Clothed in His armor, I march on

“Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.

Put on the whole armor of God,

that you may stand against the schemes of the devil.”
Belt of truth — stand your ground!
Breastplate strong — righteous found!
Feet of peace — ready to stand!
Shield of faith — flames undone!
Helmet sure — salvation won!
Sword of Spirit — Word of the Son!
“Take up the shield of faith,
with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

Take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.”

(Ephesians 6:16–17)

Armor on, we fight, we pray,

The Lord of Hosts leads the way.
Armor on, we will not fall,
In Jesus’ name — we conquer all!
