The establishment used to have a monopoly on the news we watched

Now you can decide for yourself on X and they’re terrified. So they call it “disinformation”. What’s disinformation anyway ? Is it just anything the establishment doesn’t like ?
Or anything that threatens the cosy monopoly the establishment had over news?
They’re not panicking because people are misinformed. They’re panicking because people are informed and no longer believe them.
