It's Spooktober! Time for spoopy games!

This time we play SOMA!

SOMA is a 2015 psychological and survival horror video game developed and published by Frictional Games, the creators of the Amnesia series. It is set in an underwater research facility in the year 2104 and is known for its unsettling atmosphere and deep philosophical story about consciousness and what it means to be human.

The narrative follows protagonist Simon Jarrett after a fatal car accident leaves him with severe brain damage. He agrees to an experimental brain scan and wakes up in the mysterious, derelict, underwater research complex PATHOS-II, with no memory of how he got there. The Earth's surface has been destroyed by a comet strike, and Simon must uncover the history of the facility while confronting the horrors within and questioning his own existence.
