Pro-ICE Man in “Thank You Charlie” Shirt Knocks Out Antifa Protester in Portland Clash

Portland, OR, October 2, 2025 — Violent clashes erupted overnight outside the Portland ICE facility, where protesters once again squared off with federal agents in chaotic scenes that left at least three arrested and one man seriously injured.

Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin reported from the scene as federal agents rushed protesters who trespassed on federal property, burning American flags, and taunting officers with megaphones. At one point, agents carried away an injured man after a brutal fistfight broke out between a pro-ICE demonstrator and an Antifa agitator.

The pro-ICE supporter, who was wearing a white shirt honoring Charlie Kirk that read “Thank You Charlie – A True Patriot, 1983–2025,” defended himself during the brawl. The Antifa protester in black was knocked out cold, later collapsing with facial swelling so severe that federal agents carried him into the facility for medical attention.

Throughout the night, chaos unfolded: protesters set an American flag on fire before independent journalist Nick Sortor intervened to save it, earning loud insults from the mob. Federal agents also maced a female protester, though the cause of the escalation remains under review.

Notably, Portland police were absent for much of the violence. As Melugin reported, “There was no Portland police around to intervene during any of this. It’s an issue the Portland ICE director told me has been an ongoing problem due to local politics.”

By the time Portland’s Rapid Response Team arrived, most of the clashes had already ended, leaving critics questioning why local officials consistently turn a blind eye to Antifa violence.
