3-minute clips of #475 at the Strasburg Railroad

If you love steam trains or you're just curious, #475 is something special. Built way back in 1906 by Baldwin Locomotive Works, this engine originally worked hard for the Norfolk & Western Railway, hauling freight through the early 1900s.
Today, it’s still running strong at the Strasburg Rail Road in Pennsylvania. And yep this isn’t a static museum piece. #475 is fully operational and pulls real passenger trains through beautiful Lancaster County. The whistle, the steam, the sound of the rods clanking, it’s all real, and it’s all awesome.
This locomotive has over 100 years of history, but it still feels alive. Whether you’re into railroads or just looking for something cool and nostalgic, #475 delivers a little piece of the past you can actually experience today.

Some facts:
- Built in 1906 (she’s got some stories!)
- 4-8-0 “Mastodon” steam engine
- Runs on the Strasburg Rail Road
- Originally served Norfolk & Western Railway
- Still running regular excursion trains
