How do we reduce crime? I think the key is punishment, creative punishment. 1st thing for property crimes, charge them 3 times cost of stolen or damaged goods, a 3 yr ban from the business where they stole or damaged property, for minors, parents would pay 2/3rds & the minor would pay the remainder via work for property owner or via a job. We must add humiliation by having them get a public spanking( this applies to all criminals ), with buttocks & face exposed with it being posted online. Also crimes like rape, murder & pedophilia if you're under 18 and can tell right from wrong you're charged as an adult, and like adults should be executed for those crimes. Bring back the 3 strike rule for felonies, after the 3rd felony you get 29 yrs, no early release and violent crimes don't get bail. I think this would work, what do you think?
