Mansfield Penitentiary (Ohio State Reformatory): This prison was built between 1886 and 1910 and closed in 1990. It was known for its harsh conditions and served as a filming location for The Shawshank Redemption. Today, it is a museum and tourist attraction, attracting visitors and paranormal enthusiasts, as it is believed to be haunted.
