Nintendo Showcase: Double Dragon (NES)

The initial 1988 port of the arcade classic, Double Dragon, is notable for its significant differences from the original. In the NES Double Dragon, twin brothers and martial artists Billy and Jimmy Lee embark on a mission to rescue Billy's girlfriend, Marian, from the clutches of the Black Warriors street gang, led by the mysterious Shadow Boss. However, a major plot divergence from the arcade version sees Jimmy Lee revealed as the Shadow Boss, forcing Billy to fight his own brother to save Marian.
