Patches In My Heart

Patches In My Heart
I am healed and it’s calm,
But sometimes it doesn’t
Feel that strong.
Jesus, come inside,
Pull the wrong things apart,
Heal the broken places
In my heart.

When I cry, I let it run,
Every tear’s a stitch to mend.
Fix me, Lord, one by one,
I love You, Jesus, my best friend.
Verse 2
Only You can reach the pain
That hides inside of me.
Make it right so no one sees
How fragile I can be.
You made me soft, I know,
But harden just enough
To face this world with courage
While I’m held in Your love.

When I cry, I let it run,
Every tear’s a stitch to mend.
Fix me, Lord, one by one,
I love You, Jesus, my best friend.

If it didn’t hurt so much
I might not call Your name.
But even in the pain,
You draw me closer still.

A patch here, a patch there,
Sometimes the seams will rip.
But every tear that falls from me
Becomes a stitch You knit.
Verse 3
Thank You, Jesus,
You’re my best friend.
You mend the broken pieces
Till I see You again.

It’s a blessing in disguise,
And only You can see.
I love You so, I won’t let go—
When my patches fall apart,
Hold me close, don’t let go.
