A process for his Beatification has started. His great-grandfather came from the United States. The British Embassy helped him and his family after Republican Militia assassinated his father and threatened his family with 'You Are Next' pointing at him, aged 14.

"Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, who taught us to seek with ardent zeal the greater glory of the Eternal Father and the salvation of the human race, we ask you to always keep in mind the apostolic labors of your servant, Father Jorge Loring Miró, S.J., who strove tirelessly to serve you by exercising his priestly ministry in favor of his brothers and sisters.
Grant us the grace that our Holy Mother Church may soon decree his veneration, so that we may count him among the canonized saints.
