Sheep, Kids, and a Mindset – Psalms 23+24

emember Pete and the walking on water incident? What was the defining factor of that whole episode? Peter's mindset. Jesus didn't change. The water and waves didn't change. Everything remained the same, from start to finish, except Peter's mindset. His mindset was one thing at the start, but then it changed. More specifically, Peter changed it. It was his change of mind that changed his circumstances.

We're going to talk about mindset within the context of Psalms 23 and 24. The point I hope you will go home with today is that your mindset sets the stage for your Christian walk. Keep your mind in the right place and you will experience the abundant life Jesus spoke about. Let your mind wander to the wrong places and you will find yourself drowning in the crashing waves.
