FAST Drill Setup & Requirements:

Distance: Set up your target at exactly 7 yards for authentic concealed carry training.
Target: Use a 3x5 index card for the head zone and an 8-inch circle for the body (download a free FAST Drill target template online for easy setup).
Ammo Requirements: Load your pistol with exactly 2 rounds (one in the chamber, one in the mag) to force a slide-lock reload. Have a spare magazine loaded with 4 rounds. Total ammo per run: 6 rounds of your preferred defensive caliber.
Procedure: Start from concealment with hands relaxed at sides. On the beep, draw and fire 2 shots into the head zone, perform a speedy slide-lock reload, then fire 4 shots into the body zone. Time stops on the last shot—focus on smooth fundamentals, accuracy, and speed!
