The Mâlik ibn Anas mosque (Arabic: جامع مالك بن أنس). is a Tunisian mosque located north of the city of Carthage.

It is erected at a place called “La Colline de l'Odéon”, on a three-hectare site[2], in the heart of the archaeological site of Carthage and in the immediate vicinity of the Odéon and the basilica of Damous El Karita. Originally called El Abidine, it took the name of Mâlik ibn Anas following a ceremony held on November 23, 2012 in the presence of President Moncef Marzouki and Mohamed Youssef el-Megaryef, President of the Libyan General National Congress[3].

Opened in 2003, the building features a prayer hall for 1,000 worshippers, an inner courtyard covering 1,500 m2, a 2,500 m2 esplanade and a minaret with a base of 9 meters and a height of 55 meters[2].

The mosque appears on Tunisian ten-dinar banknotes. The Tunisian Post Office also dedicated a 250-millimeter postage stamp to it, 200,000 of which were printed on November 11, 2004[4]. In addition, the religious radio station Zitouna FM broadcasts the five daily prayers from the mosque.
