Nevada's Most Haunted Hotels

Nevada is known for its silver strikes, desert boomtowns, and ghost towns frozen in time. But beyond the history, the state also carries a reputation for haunted hotels and lingering spirits. In this video, we explore three of Nevada’s most famous legends: the Washow Club in Virginia City, the Goldfield Hotel, and the Jackson House in Eureka.

The Washow Club once stood as the Millionaires’ Club, where the elite gathered in opulent surroundings. Today, it’s best remembered for ghostly whispers on its grand staircase and unexplained cold spots in its halls.

The Goldfield Hotel was once a shining jewel of the desert, built during the mining boom and abandoned almost as quickly. Legends of a woman named Elizabeth and eerie cries through the dead switchboard have fueled its reputation as one of the most haunted places in the country.

Finally, we travel to the quieter Jackson House in Eureka. Less famous than its counterparts, the stories here are mostly word of mouth: a woman in red, phantom footsteps, and shadows in the halls. Whether folklore or truth, these tales keep history alive.
