Above the Clouds Carrauntoohil Summit Sunrise Part 2

After hours of climbing through darkness, we finally reached the summit of Carrauntoohil — the highest mountain in Ireland. Though we missed the very first glow of sunrise, what we witnessed was still unforgettable: a flawless sky, zero wind, and complete silence on top of the peak.

We stayed for 40 minutes, frozen by the autumn cold but unable to leave the view behind. Below us, Kerry stretched endlessly in golden light — lakes shimmering, valleys glowing, clouds like embers on the horizon.
