Wise Dragon -copyright

Lo, the sound that once did heal,
Within the halls, where spirits kneel.
Organs sang, and waters knew,
The song of life, of hearts made true.
But shadowed hand, the foe unseen,
Twisteth the tone, and breaks the dream.

Seventy parts of water, we be,
Mirrour of tone, the sacred key.
Melodies pure, now shadowed lies,
Temples of sound, ‘neath poisoned skies.
Yet in the heart, the echo remaineth,
Of healing songs, of truth sustaineth.

Hark, O soul, the chains of sound,
Four hundred thirty-two lost, four hundred forty doth wound.
Return, return, to ancient streams,
Whence floweth the song of lighted dreams.

Strike ye the chord of elder days,
Raise ye the note, through twilight haze.
Water remembereth, body respondeth,
Tone of the earth, whence soul fondeth.

Hark, O soul, the chains of sound,
Four hundred thirty-two lost, four hundred forty doth wound.
Return, return, to ancient streams,
Whence floweth the song of lighted dreams.
Sound of the healer, arise again,
Break the spell of shadowed men.
