Former MP, George Galloway was recently held for nine hours at Gatwick Airport by U.K. counter terrorism police under the Terrorism Act.

In this segment Galloway describes being told he was "not under arrest but not free to leave," stripped of his right to silence, and threatened with charges if he refused to answer questions, which he calls an Orwellian attack on liberty.

His phone and laptop were confiscated, and he believes the real goal was to access his communications and intimidate a political dissident critical of NATO, Israel, and European controlled nations, foreign policy.

George Galloway, a former British politician, broadcaster, and writer. He has been leader of the Workers Party of Britain since he founded it in 2019, and is a former leader of the Respect Party. Until 2003, he was a member of the Labour Party. From 1987 to 2010, from 2012 to 2015, and briefly in 2024, Galloway served as Member of Parliament for five different constituencies.

Jimmy and Americans' Comedian Kurt Metzger compare Galloway's treatment to what we typically see from authoritarian regimes that European controlled nations condemns, arguing that governments in the United Kingdom and the United States, are the real terrorists silencing truth-tellers.
