Only way to collect anything was to help him kill them. Man I get pulled into all kinds of shit. Well the wagon was a complete loss. Everything burned. But found out what he was protecting was his pregnant wife. An injun. Pretty little thing. We all know what love will do especially to a man. He would have died trying to protect her and now I understand why he deserted. He gave me a small amulet to pay his debt. Prolly wont pay everything but prolly all he has left.
