EMPTY ME TO MAKE ROOM FOR OTHERS, LORD!
Galatians 5:13 New King James Version
13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
WHILE STILL HAVING BOUNDARIES. GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA DEAR FRIENDS!!!
I found these questions from this morning’s devotional rather thought provoking, as well as challenging them up because I struggle in this area. I don't know if it's struggle really, but I'm cautious as to who I make time to help for, because I've seen my family taken advantage of, as well as myself, and it's made me extra wary. I want to open myself up. I want to empty of myself to make room for others, but I find it difficult, when 9 times out of 10 I'm encountering a con artist! However, I want to share these questions with you, but I'm going to reverse them, because this last question is what's really challenging my heart. Please check it out, and I pray that God speaks to your heart through it too.
What does it mean to see others through God’s eyes?
Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has shown me from this morning scripture, as well as others, on how we can seek to imitate Christ example in helping others, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that have God empty your heart what I have to say, you will really take to heart. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn how you can of yourself, to make room for others! 😊
So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotion, and I pray that you not only think about it, but act on it.
How can you place others’ needs above your own?
I challenge you tonight, to carefully examine yourself, and ask God to show you areas where you need to empty yourself to him, so that you can make room for others around you. Ask God especially to show you who you can make room for in your life, that you can help, and be used of God to impact their lives in a godly fashion. I want to make it clear guys, that when we help others in the name of Jesus, we have a right to have boundaries, and to have our guard up, but we can't have it up so high, that we ignore an awesome opportunity to share the gospel. We can help others, in an unselfish fashion but we can also make sure that we're not neglecting ourselves or our families in an unhealthy fashion, or worse yet, using our desire to help, to stick our nose in somebody's business where it doesn't belong. Let's learn to imitate Christ example through making room for others, by viewing them with His loving eyes, but also don't be afraid to have boundaries, and learn to mind your own business.
