Banned Book Week is a scam

It's the most wonderful time of the year where truly the most positive online community gets baited into defending the indefensible for the benefit of Amazon and Barnes & Noble. I'm not mad or anything don't worry about me, just on a vendetta against the most prolific writer of the last 50 years.

Banned Books Week, an event highlighting the importance of the freedom to read and opposing censorship, was launched in 1982 in response to a surge in challenged and banned books in schools, libraries, and bookstores. It was founded by Judith Krug, an activist and director at the American Library Association (ALA), after publishers brought the issue to her attention.
