Welcome to Part 2 of Solari’s series on homeopathy! Returning Solari guest Dr. Michelle Perro, who appeared on the former Wellness Series in 2019, has over 40 years of experience as a homeopath and medical doctor in acute and integrative medicine and is the author of What’s Making Our Children Sick? For the past 15 years, she has dedicated her practice to treating the health effects of GMOs and dangerous pesticides, along with healing autism and other vaccine- and toxin-related injuries. She is also the co-founder and CEO of the nonprofit, GMOScience.

As I discussed with Leslie Manookian in Part 1, homeopathy is a system of medicine founded in the early 19th century by German physician Dr. Samuel Hahnemann based on the principle of “like cures like.” Just the energy of the substance in a homeopathic remedy is all that is needed to speed up the body’s healing process.

When my son was very young, he found healing in the remedies and advice of a classical homeopath, although the homeopath would not start him on any remedies until he went on a gluten-free/dairy-free diet and undertook some mercury and lead chelation. My son was so toxic that we needed to take those steps first; then he could start to heal, one homeopathic remedy at a time, in a safe, gentle, and timely manner. Classical homeopaths are strict about following the practice guidelines written by Hahnemann in The Organon of Medicine. They do not employ muscle testing, energy healing, meditation, or any other techniques or therapies. However, I have witnessed innumerable families who found help with other approaches to homeopathy, and as a nurse, I want people to find what works for them.
