Lats 'n' Longs (to the tune of Jack And Diane)

Last week, while talking to the gang in a Discord server, Dave – aka. New Perspective - posted some lyrics in satire of John Cougar Mellencamp's hit Jack And Diane. It's about drawing lines of latitude and longitude on Earth and the way that the mainstream have hijacked perspective and used those two devices to convince us all that we live on a ball 'n' stuff.

It really struck a chord with me, pun intended. And I knew that this was a hit in the making.
So, I took those lyrics, spruced 'em up a bit 'n' recorded quite a few vocal takes to put over top of the vintage melody (1982) - full choir and all.

The outcome was truly great enough that it also demanded proper video production.
