There will be “uncertainty” for Canada, US throughout CUSMA negotiations

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney will travel to Washington, D.C. on Monday, where he will meet with his American counterpart as trade negotiations between the two countries continue and Ottawa looks for an off-ramp from tariffs hammering the Canadian steel, aluminum and automobile industries.

The duties do not apply to goods compliant under the Canada-U.S.-Mexico agreement on trade, better known as CUSMA.
