Ghost of Yotei Has Broken IGN and Made Them Rethink Stories

Ghost of Yotei has released to a tepid response. Not too many people are talking about it days after release and what little chatter exists is focusing on a fish cooking mini game. Sucker Punch really knocked it out of the park.

IGN gave the game an 8/10, meaning it's one point better than Star Wars Outlaws, but one point worse than Dragon Age: The Veilguard. But what is unique about this release is how the story is so generic, it is making the outlet rethink narratives in gaming and how bland they have become.

But hey, the boycott chatter sure did die down.
