Marvel Actress Says the MCU Has Become Culturally Exhausted

Marvel actress Elizabeth Olsen said recently that she thinks the Marvel Cinematic Universe, MCU, is becoming exhausted.

The Scarlet Witch actress’ statement came during recent public statements. She feels the MCU has persisted as long as it has because it is something familiar to audiences. This is not to say it is good. Marvel movies are kind of akin to fast food of movies in that they’re not good, or even healthy, but something people know what to expect from. Unfortunately, as time has gone on Disney has been losing their old audience and haven’t been able to build a new one. This means that there is a time limit onto how long Disney can continue to make Marvel movies.
