A Quick Couple o' Thoughts About google Earth

It's got a neat-o little feature where you can measure the distance from one point to next. And that feature also gives you the ability to see how the land elevation changes over that distance.

But, there's an aspect to it that, I think, most people have yet to consider.

It's an idea that I've had rolling around in my head for some time. More recently, I've heard people speaking about using google Earth in their analysis in land based observation. So, I thought I'd get right on it and help to clear some air.
