India Calls Out Pakistan's "Systematic Genocide", Human Rights Record | Firstpost Live | N18G

India lashed out at Pakistan at the UN Security Council, calling it a country that "bombs its own people" and "conducts systematic genocide." Speaking during the Council’s debate on "Women, Peace and Security," India’s envoy Parvathaneni Harish rebuked Pakistan for its comments on the state of women in Jammu and Kashmir, calling them a "delusional tirade." Citing Pakistan's 1971 Operation Searchlight, Harish recalled the mass killings and sexual violence committed during the crackdown on Bangladesh’s independence movement, saying the "world sees through Pakistan’s propaganda." India's remarks follow recent diplomatic exchanges, such as at the UN Human Rights Council and the General Assembly, where New Delhi accused Islamabad of systemic discrimination and sponsoring terrorism.
