Philip K Dick was the author of books like Maj in the High Castle which was adapted by Prime as a TV series a number of years ago. The author said his u sprain for books that involved alternate dimensions was based on his own experience where he recalled having lived alternate lives one being in a dimension where the Nazis had won WWII. He believed he had been an unfortunate soul that did not survive.

He is 100% an uncredited influence of the Matrix films because of this speech in France where he said that if you were living in a computer programmed reality, the only clue you would have is when they change something.

Philip was a science fiction writer who wrote cyberpunk genre novels that many believe influenced the work of the movie The Matrix. Here he is in 1977 claiming that he wrote those novels based on fragments of memories he believes to be real.

He discusses deja vu (which I have experienced many times), changes in the current timeline (Mandela effects), and his belief that we are living in a simulated computer universe.
