Hilariously Stupid: Left-Wingers Have Come Up With A New Way To 'Defeat' ICE

Posted • October 8, 2025: With ICE facilities still facing attacks and besiegement by "protesters," the far left has come up with a new way to "defeat" federal immigration authorities. Thankfully, this one doesn't involve snipers on rooftops or setting things on fire. It is hilariously stupid, though, and perhaps a bit more nefarious than it first appears. The recent trend involves demonstrators dressing up in inflatable dinosaur costumes and "dancing" in front of ICE agents. Here's what that looks like in practice. —— JΛKΣ @USMCLiberal: “This is EXACTLY how we defeat the brutality of ICE, Stephen Miller, and the Trump administration. Don’t get into fights with law enforcement and DON’T block ICE vehicles!!! Just make them look stupid.” —— I mean, is it "exactly how you defeat ICE?" I'm not really seeing much defeat being handed out there. I do see people wasting their time looking like imbeciles while ICE continues to do its job.

Perhaps there's a lesson there on the complete and utter ineffectiveness of the left, which seems to truly believe it can wishcast anything it wants into existence, including by dancing in goofy costumes. I'll give them this, though. This is preferable to these left-wing agitators trying to kill agents, blocking federal vehicles, or throwing firebombs into buildings, all things that have happened recently. So there's that, at least. It also presents an opportunity for ICE agents clever enough to take it if these "protesters" playing dress-up get a bit too rowdy. […] One has to ask if this is really just a jovial attempt at de-escalation. I ponder that primarily because de-escalation isn't exactly part of the left-wing playbook. There's always some kind of ulterior motive. Is this a PR move to make Antifa look harmless? Almost certainly. Does that make them harmless? Not at all, and it doesn't appear that the inflatable costumes have slowed the violence down any. Left-wing assaults on ICE agents, counter-protesters, and journalists are still taking place. Antifa and their allies are still communists at the end of the day.

They can try to soften their image and offer distractions, but I would hope no one is dumb enough to buy it. In the meantime, ICE will continue to do its job in places like Portland and Chicago, no matter what left-wingers decide to dress up as. Public perception, certainly not in far-left cities, plays no role in the Trump administration's decision to crack down on criminal illegal aliens.
