Resident Evil 3 is a 2020 survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is a remake of the 1999 game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Players control former 'S.T.A.R.S' police officer Jill Valentine and mercenary Carlos Oliveira as they attempt to find a vaccine and escape from a city during a zombie outbreak. Played from a third-person perspective, the player must defeat monsters and solve puzzles while being pursued by an engineered mutant called the Nemesis.

Jill Valentine is one of the last remaining people in Raccoon City to witness the atrocities Umbrella performed. To stop her, Umbrella unleashes their ultimate secret weapon: Nemesis!

Experience another perspective of the once-vibrant Raccoon City's nightmarish outbreak of the T-Virus, a biological weapon developed by Umbrella Corporation. Jill Valentine's harrowing struggle for survival takes her from the early moments of the outbreak, and overlaps with the events depicted in the acclaimed best-selling Resident Evil 2 before arriving at the dramatic conclusion of the Raccoon City saga.

In this playthrough we cover:

Underground Warehouse:

Jill descends into the Underground Warehouse, a dark maze of storage containers and electrical hazards. She must collect three fuses to restore power while fending off Pale Heads and Hunters in narrow corridors. The tension spikes as she maneuvers lifts and tight spaces under constant ambush. Once all fuses are retrieved, Jill powers the elevator and uncovers a secret route leading straight into the NEST 2 Laboratory.

NEST Lab:

Inside NEST 2, Jill discovers Umbrella’s vaccine research and horrific experiments behind the outbreak. Players must collect culture samples and reagents to synthesize a vaccine while battling zombies and Hunter Betas. Cutscenes reveal Umbrella’s desperation and the scale of their crimes. Jill finally crafts the vaccine, but Nemesis crashes through the facility before she can escape.

Nemesis Boss Fight 3:

Jill faces Nemesis Stage 3 in the Disposal Center, a massive, tentacled monstrosity prowling a circular arena. Using power generators and red fuel tanks, she must stun Nemesis long enough to target its exposed weak points. Quick dodges and explosive timing are crucial as it attacks with sweeping tentacles and charges. After several phases, Nemesis collapses, clearing the path deeper into the lab.

Nemesis Boss Fight 4:

In the final battle, Jill confronts Nemesis’s colossal final form in the Weapon Testing Arena. She powers up a massive railgun, dodging acid blasts and slams while shooting its glowing weak spots to expose power cores. Between phases, she races to push the red cores back in to restore power. Once charged, Jill fires the railgun directly through Nemesis’s head, killing it instantly. In the aftermath, a cutscene shows Nicholai destroying the vaccine before being grabbed by Carlos and Jill shoots him, and she and Carlos narrowly escape via helicopter as Raccoon City is obliterated by a missile strike.
