Charity group braces for increased demand during US shutdown

An Arizona charity organization is bracing to help more families in need amid the United States government shutdown. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix, provides food, rental assistance and other services to the community. Danielle McMahon, the Phoenix Chief Operations Officer said missed paychecks strain households, driving many to St. Vincent de Paul for food assistance.
