Qualifying as a Paratrooper in the SADF - Episode 3 - The Three Day Selection / PT Course

Back in 1986 Dr Andre Roux of 7 Med Bn Gp completed the 14 Day PT Course followed by the Hanger Phase before making his first jump and earning the coveted parachute wings. This course was recorded and now is a four episode series on Legacy Conversations. This episode describes the Three Day and Two Nights Selection Course. Guests include Lt Col Frans van Tubbergh - Instructor, and Dr Johan Prins of 7 Med Bn Gp describing the treatment of feet blisters.
