I don’t expect History to be entirely accurate. It will always be written with bias and omissions. But what we see here goes beyond bias or error into outright fabrication. In school, I never learned that there was a Chilaga in the 1500s that turned into Chigagou in the 1600s. I clearly remember learning that Chicago didn’t exist before 1840. These are not the results of innocent mistakes, but deliberate deception.
