In this video we are looking at making the wands you'll need - the wands are basically very simple and what you need to remember is that if you want to plate with a different metal you have to change the shoe on the plating wanding want for a shoe made from the metal you want to plate with. So if you want to plate with gold you'll need a gold shoe. I would buy a piece of scrap gold and either beat it or melt it down and make a square from it so that you can easily attach the holder. you don't need much - and i would attach a thin piece to a backing plate of copper - i might make one for the fun of it and do a video.
