Explosion Disaster with water for fuel experiment

Well, this was the same set up as my previous experiment with exploding water - except the idea here was to enclose it with the exception of an outlet pipe - i planned on collecting the gas and seeing if it would burn. Unfortunately when i pressed the switch the whole thing blew to pieces showering glass and water everywhere. I guess i should have used a thicker glass - what i actually used was an old vase - but for next time i plan on ordering a heavy duty bit of plexiglass!!

Still there must have been some energy in there to do this - so it is a bit of a qualified disaster - and now i am keener to try again. For anybody interested i have just set up a website - it's new - so not so good - but i'm getting there - the address is https://sites.google.com/site/aferlab/
