Trump Concedes Netanyahu May Soon Lose Power, But Jokes He’s More ‘Popular Today Than He Was Five Days Ago’
President Donald Trump was asked during Thursday’s cabinet meeting if the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal may result in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu losing power. Trump conceded it was certainly a possibility before quipping that Netanyahu should be far more popular after the deal than he was previously.

“Mr. President, given that there are some tough provisions for Israel in this agreement, are you at all concerned that Bibi Netanyahu may not continue in his post and be deposed?” a reporter asked Trump.

“Bibi may go a little bit out of whack,” Trump replied as the reporter pressed, “But he may no longer be Prime Minister when this is over?”
