LA Cops in Wild Liquor Store Shootout | Armed Suspect Fires at Officers

LAPD officers patrolling a liquor store on 9th Ave and West Jefferson Blvd confronted 33-year-old Malik Salaah, who pulled a 9mm pistol and fired multiple shots at them during a detention attempt. Salaah fled but was apprehended after a brief chase, wounded but stable, and booked for attempted murder of a peace officer. An unloaded pistol was recovered; no officers or bystanders were harmed.
