Hasan Is Lying About His Dog

During a recent Twitch livestream, Hasan Piker’s dog Kaya yelped on camera, prompting serious accusations that Hasan used a shock collar. Hasan denied it, sarcastically calling himself “incredibly abusive” to “the most spoiled dog on the planet.” He later showed the collar on stream, claiming it only contains vibration, sound, and AirTag tracking — no electrical components. He suggested Kaya’s yelp was caused by clipping her foot or stepping awkwardly off the bed.

Critics did not let the matter rest. xQc publicly offered $50,000 to a shelter if Hasan proved the collar had no shock function. Ethan Klein and others labeled the moment “horrifying.” Many demanded that Hasan disclose the collar’s brand and model.

In reviewing the footage, I believe what appears to be tape on the collar in some shots might be an attempt to obscure a shock mechanism. No verified evidence currently proves that tape was used to hide a shocker. The strongest allegations remain based on interpretations of video frames, not physical inspection.
