Hailing from New York City, John had a 29 year career as a police officer, deputy sheriff/deputy coroner, detective and criminal investigator between NYC and the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to his law enforcement career, John spent just over six years in the United States Coast Guard serving aboard cutters patrolling the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
John always had a penchant for the supernatural and paranormal. While living in NYC and Long Island, he lived in multiple haunted apartments and his childhood home was haunted as well. After retiring from police work in 2015 John went on a ghost hunt with a local paranormal team in Alameda, CA and was instantly hooked!
