INSTANT ACCESS TO GOD THROUGH JESUS

Ephesians 2:18 New King James Version
18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR ONES!!!

Something interesting about this passage of scripture, in particular the statement on how we can have instant access to God through Jesus, in particular that the writer of Hebrews says and that we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we can truly find that mercy and grace to help in time of need but really gets me. It gets me because I never saw prayer that way until I got to college, and I never saw how precious it is to be able to have that access to God, to come to him with all my emotions, fears, and whatever else I am dealing with, and know that God understands me. That God understands me and what I go through, because he's been there too, so I can come boldly to His throw, with confidence that He will listen to me, answer my prayer and intercede for me always.

I think that's why these questions from this morning's devotional are really getting me to think about this issue, but what I'd like to do with them is reverse the order in which they have been posted on Our Daily Bread. Please check these questions out, read them for yourself, and ask God to speak to you through them.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has been showing me on this issue, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share encourages you to see that you as a believer in Christ have that instant and permanent access to God through His son Jesus. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that as a believer in Christ, you see that you have that 24/7, 365 access to God through Jesus Christ, and you take advantage of it every day! That you see it as the most wonderful privilege ever to be able to have access to God's throne room to be able to talk to God in prayer and never take it for granted. I pray that you never let any fears, doubts, or even apathy get in the way of that time with you and the Lord, but that you make the time every day to spend with Him in prayer and cherish it. I pray that whatever may be trying to keep you from spending time with the Lord, will be eliminated as you choose to put God first in your life but most of all I pray that you will realize and act on the fact that you can always come to God in prayer, and have that instant and permanent access to Him.
