Live-Action Tangled Resumes | Disney Continues Remake Trend Following Snow White Failure

Disney’s previously announced live-action remake of Tangled is supposedly back on following the company putting a pause on things after Snow White failed.

Not much is known about the movie at this point, but after Snow White failed Disney appeared scared that audiences are not interested in live-action remakes anymore. However, Lilo & Stitch was too far along to cancel. Snow White was criticized for deviating so dramatically from the original animated film and lost hundreds of millions. Meanwhile Lilo & Stitch was more faithful and made over a billion dollars globally. If Disney was smart they would take this to mean audience will still watch their live action remakes so long as identity politics are left out and they stay true to the original.
