Despite repeated assurances, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has failed to act against TTP and BLA terrorists operating from its soil. Instead, terror networks have expanded, with Afghan territory now used to wage a proxy war against Pakistan—often in coordination with India. Pakistan has provided exact coordinates of over 60 terror camps, yet Kabul has done nothing. TTP chief Noor Wali Mehsud lives openly in Kabul, reportedly receiving regime protection and funding. U.S. and NATO weapons left behind are now used by militants against Pakistani forces, with Afghan commanders selling arms to terror groups. Infiltration has intensified, with Afghan nationals directly involved in deadly attacks. The recent visit of Afghan FM Muttaqi to India, alongside intelligence officials and secret meetings with Indian NSA Ajit Doval, reinforces fears of a covert Indo-Afghan-TTP axis. Despite decades of support, including hosting millions of refugees and allowing duty-free trade, Pakistan’s goodwill has been met with betrayal. With over a thousand casualties in two years, Pakistan warns it will no longer tolerate cross-border terrorism or state complicity. Kabul must choose—peace with Pakistan, or alliance with its enemies.
