Our world is still dominated by religious texts written thousands of years ago. Although they may indeed attempt to bring a moral compass to our society, they were still written by men in relation to the needs of that time.
With the new technological revolution taking place, thus putting our moral foundations on unsteady ground, perhaps it is time to apply an accountability method to these old ancient texts.
We can then separate the true moral code of conduct from the political climate of the time.
