Food Banks Canada says demand is “spiralling out of control” — more than 2 million food-bank visits every month, a 90 % increase since 2019.
Ottawa’s answer? Make a new National School Food Program permanent, at $216 million a year.
The same government that fueled inflation is now bragging about feeding the victims of it.
