Learning the Ropes - Ale & Tale Tavern, Days 2 & 3

We've purchased a run down tavern and after the first day of cleaning it up and getting our first customers, we settle into a routine as we learn the ropes. But the only one making money is the vendor who's decided to stick around and the brew pot he sold us breaks down!

Then, when we feel like we have a hang of things, he suggests we should rebuild the tavern's garden? Who owns this place anyway?
